Sunday July 12, 2009

The early risers(5ish)awoke to a wet morning after a drenching rain during the night. The late risers(7 is) stumbled out of bed to welcoming breakfast of eggs, bacon, ham a perfect pot of grits, ( you can take the southerners out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the southerners), juice, coffe and Mr. Allen's famous toast. We headed to a day of worship with the locals at the church of the Nazaren, Cottontree Village. Pastor Joseph and his wife do a remarkable job ministering to this community. All total, 9 semons, 250 children at Bible school, and a couple of local canines. Lunch was family style at the Yim Saan Chinese restaurant in Belmopan. The day was filled with many blessings and testimonies. Our hearts were prepared for the week ahead. The newcomers made a visit to the Mayan Ruins. Supper was about 8:30, and then it was Bible school prep....crafts and crash! Tomorrow we hit the ground running with the building and medical teams added.
Computer was down Sunday, so this is posting Monday evening.
